Where Does It Come From

This is a surprisingly light, quick read for such a "heavy" subject. Kropotkin is widely credited as the father of the modern western concept of anarchism, and explains his baby to the people of Paris in a concise, easy to understand fashion, in only 40-50 pages if I remember correctly.

Anarchism is NOT what we've been propagandized to believe. Neither is Socialism, Capitalism or Communism.

In this short address, Kropotkin summed up the simple fact I'd known in my bones for years; There is no evil system of governance. All the 'isms' we know are, in their purest forms, formulae for uplifting the human species as a whole. Though he stresses the methods by which capitalism was exploited by evil in his lifetime, he goes into the other isms too, and I guarantee you'll be jarred by how closely the times of the French Revolution mirror modern day USA.

His explanation of anarchism feels a lot like the O'Jays "Love Train". You will likee.
